In blistering heat Town played 3 group games, winning two and losing one. A 2-0 win against Clee Town Blues was backed up with another win against Barton Town by 4 goals to nil. The final group game saw Cleethorpes Town take the win by a single goal. In the quarter final Town beat Boston United 2-0 and Swifts were the Semi final opponents which Town defeated 1-0. There was a repeat of the group game in the final with Cleethorpes Town the team between HTFC and cup glory. Nothing could split the two teams in normal time and extra time and even the penalty shoot out went to sudden death. Goalkeeper Amelia Cunliffe was the Town hero saving the sudden death penalty and then stepping up herself to win the tournament. Town top scored in the tournament with 9 goals and only conceded one goal in the narrow defeat in the group stage.
