Horncastle Town Football Club are delighted to announce two new additions to the management structures of our two Saturday senior sides

Firstly, Allan Ross returns to the club as joint manager to work alongside current manager Mickey Stones and the existing coaching staff consisting of: John Rawdon, Steve Lovett and Nathan Rawdon.
Allan was playing for the Wongers in the mid noughties before a knee injury ended his playing career, but he stayed at the club and joined Mick Jones and Glen Maddison on the management team. The trio achieved great success in their spell, winning four cups. The stand out being the county Cup Senior B and moving the Wongers consistently to the top end of the lincs league.

Allan has since had spells with Boston United, Sleaford Town and most recently Pinchbeck United, where he guided the club from the Peterborough Premiership to the top tier of the UCL with two promotions.

The second appointment is also a familiar face as Erik Rawdon (brother of first team coach John) returns to the club to manage our reserve side who compete in the Boston league. Erik is also an ex player, who has appeared for both our junior and senior set ups.

Erik has recently been Player Assistant Manager for the Army Cyprus team and playing for Ormedia in the Cypriot leagues. Also this season playing and coaching for his Regiment and Cottesmore. Erik is also currently studying leadership and development alongside his day job in the British Army.

The Committee would like to welcome both Allan and Erik back to the Wong, both return with huge enthusiasm, experience and have great affiliation for the club and we feel both are big coups to help progress the club.

We look forward to getting back to work when it is safe to do so and hopefully you will see these two new faces on the Wong very soon.
