Girls enjoy tournament at Louth
Our under U11’s girls team were invited to take part in a 5 aside competition hosted by Louth Old Boys.
Six of the clubs players turned out Louth which included a variety of ages.
It was a great days competition seeing our girls play six games in total.
The teams were all evenly matched which made for good competition and it could be seen all the teams improving as the competition progressed. The Horncastle girls were playing their first competition for a while and had only practiced against each other in training prior to the competition. As the competition went on the team really started to click and the team finished with a great 3-0 score line which left all the girls in the team buzzing. All the girls enjoyed it and they played hard but fair.
Well done to all who took part and to thank you to the parents who turned out to support.
