The 1st team recorded a win in their 1st home game of the season beating Sleaford Town Reserves 2-0, whilst the reserves pulled off a shock result against last seasons Lincoln League champions, The Blues Club, holding them to a 1-1 draw.

The Sunday development team kicked off their season with a 2-0 victory over Claytons Athletic.

Other results included wins for the club's youngest two sides, the under 9s and 10s who both won their respective development fixtures.

The under 11s started their season with a 3-0 win at St.Helens and the under 12s progressed to the next round of the cup with a 6-0 win over Birchwood.

The 13s came out second best against tough opposition in Woodhall Spa who play two divisions higher, and the under 16s also fell short as they were beat by Young Dons. Another of the many games this afternoon saw 'A' division Sleaford Town get the better of the under 14s in a friendly.
