Horncastle Town Football Club are sad to announce the death of former groundsman Joe Jacklin. Joe was a popular figure in Horncastle as well as a prominent member of the club and served as a partner to Mo Wilkinson for a great number of years to look after The Wong pitch.

Joe was a regular visitor to the club as he enjoyed watching the senior teams and his great grandson play and remained keen to get involved with the first marking out of the season. His presence around the club brought great joy to many people who would often stop for a quiet chat with him.

His passing is a great loss to the club and he will be sorely missed. Our deepest condolences go to Joe's family at this difficult time.
