Mickey Stones picked up from when he left the club by scoring Town's 1st on his return to the 1st team action. Tony Edwards and Ollie Johnson were also on the scoresheet. This means Town will now need to beat either Skegness or Nettleham in their final two matches of the Supplementary Cup group stage if they are to progress from the group.
