Horncastle Town Football Club are delighted to announce details of the first HTFC Summer Tournament. Firstly the tournament will be held in conjunction with LIVES. They will kindly provide the first aid for the event and have a stall with information. LIVES are a superb charity in the area and their work is well renowned. Hopefully you will be able to make donations to their cause on the day.

The tournament will take place over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of May. On Saturday the Under 9's, 11's, 13's and 15's will take part and on the Sunday it will be the turn of the 10's, 12's, 14's and 16's. This will ensure each pitch at the clubs disposal has teams playing on both days. Each age group has invited 3 other teams to play in a round robin format with a final at the end for the league leaders. Trophy sponsors will be announced in due course. Teams will be required to register at 9.00am with matches commencing at 10.00am. Matches will be shorter versions of what the teams are used to in their league and development fixtures. Also in the ages Under 11 and upward if a match ends in a draw then both teams get a point but a bonus point will be awarded to the winners of a penalty shoot out.

JB's Sports coaching have kindly agreed to provide an official for the Under 9's and Under 10's pitch on the two days and they will also be running a shot tester which tests the speed you can kick a ball!

Local referee Dave Avison has generously agreed to provide the referees for the other 3 pitches over both days and the club wish to thank him.

The club are hoping to have a number of stalls on the two days with food and other items for sale. Again, details of these will be announced on confirmation.
