We are delighted to announce more details of the Horncastle Town Football Festival in association with LIVES, taking place on the 2nd and 3rd of May. On the Saturday the Under 9’s, 11’s, 13’s and 15’s will take the stage to play in a round robin format with 3 other teams. The top two teams in each group will play off for a trophy at the end. On the Sunday it is the turn of the 10’s, 12’s 14’s and 16’s and we welcome back our friends from Attleborough who will be fielding teams in the Under 10’s and 12’s group. We have fostered a very good relationship with Attleborough Sports over the last few years and are delighted to continue the partnership.
JB’s Sport Coaching will be providing their inflatable shot tester to test the strength of your strike and also a referee for the Under 9’s and 10’s group so we would just like to extend our thanks to them. There will be burgers provided by Flat Cow (http://www.flatcow.co.uk) and refreshments will be available from the bar. Proactive Teamwear, the clubs exclusive suppier of Jako kits, have donated some stock to be sold at the event so our thanks to them also. We are hoping to have a small market area featuring various different stalls but these are to be confirmed.

Teams will be registering at the admin tent from 9am with matches kicking off at 10am. Car parking will be available on the bottom pitch next to the skate park. Could we ask all parents driving their kids to the tournament to use the bottom car park as we anticipate the main car park being very busy with staff, officials and visitors. Car parking will cost £2 but included in this is a raffle ticket for the draw later in the day. There will be some undercover seating areas in air tents provided by Mayfield Manufacturing and we thank Malc and James Hickson for their generosity once more. As always the people of Horncastle are more than welcome to visit the club over the two days to enjoy what we hope to be a feast of junior football.
