HTFC are deeply saddened to announce the death of ex-first team manager, James Alfred Jones, more commonly known as Jim Jones . (1927-2015)

Jim enjoyed a professional career as a goalkeeper beginning at Everton and ending at Rochdale, including spells at New Brighton, Lincoln City and Accrington Stanley. After retiring, he went onto manage the 1st team for several years in the early 80s.

More recently the club was delighted when he agreed to open our fantastic new clubroom and changing facility in August of last year.

Our thoughts go out to his family.

RIP Jim Jones (1927-2015)
